Recent News
August 19 Update:
We've received quite a few calls the past three days from upwards of 4 NEW teams to the
fall competitve league. Although we have about 6 teams listed in the Premier League
with verbal committments,
the numbers will surely change over the next few days. We will continue
to accept teams the next few days. Please let "Statman" know ASAP whether
your team will play in either league, as we plan to begin play the week of August 30 -
schedules, umpires and other items need to be determined soon, so please do not
delay in providing us with your decision. We are planning for 15-18 regular season
games.
Likewise, the numbers have spiked in the Tuesday Recreation and Friday coed leagues,
and coed games will be scheduled to begin on Friday, August 27. We must know of your
teams decision no later than Monday, August 23 in order to plan for the upcoming
fall season. As always, feel free to email

with any questions.
We hope to begin some re-hab work on Gerlock Field this fall which may limit games on the
main diamond. Veteran's Field may be used for most games this fall. The plan is to level
the "lip" and re-grade Gerlock field, re-plant grass, and hopefully bring the infield
"in" about 6 - 8 feet for drainage and grooming purposes. Pending budget approvals and workloads,
we hope to begin work in late August. Fall ball games can still utilize other fields
in the city, so we do not expect the work to disrupt our fall season.

Welcome to the 2010 Website home for Maple Heights Softball! Improved graphics, easier navigability, more links, and expanded statistics are all available on our website for your upcoming softball season. This is one further step to the committment we have to the players and teams that participate in the Maple Heights program.
Check the site for your team's stats, standings, league leaders and daily results. League schedules, upcoming tournaments, updated field conditions,
and makeup game information can also be accessed.
New teams and players interested in joining the Maple Heights leagues
will be pleased to discover your results, stats, standings and field conditions are posted faster and more accurately
than any other program around. We are able to do this by handling all the stats 'in-house' in a PDF format - no outsourcing of the stat
sheets which create unnecessary delays and errors. The field maintenance crew are the same ones that update the field conditions and provide you with
a first-class playing experience - providing you with the information you need on a daily basis (and, when conditions warrant, hourly!)
A Message Board is available to post information concerning players looking for teams, lost or "for sale" items, or discuss the league(s) and other topics. Whether you've played in Maple Heights before, or are new to the program, we hope that you will like the new changes in store for this season, and that your choice to play will be in Maple Heights - "The Home of Premier Softball!"

Leagues
Maple Heights provides weeknight Men's softball (several levels of competition), Women's weeknight league, Men's Sunday Morning league, and the ever-popular Friday and Sunday evening co-ed leagues.
Additionally, for 2010, Maple Heights will offer a Men's "Premier League". Please contact us
for more information.
Park Information & Directions
The leagues utilize three lighted diamonds - two at Stafford Park (Gerlock and Veteran's Fields), and one at Dunham Park.
In addition, Prasek Field (with a 300' fence) is available at Stafford Park for Sunday Morning games and weeknight makeup games. Park directions and additional inquiries can be accessed under the "Contact Us" link on this site. Both facilities have convenient parking, clean restrooms, and nearby playgrounds and pavilions.
